Plymouth & District Mind Association for better mental health
Plymouth Mind is a mental health charity established in 1984. Over the years we have recruited top level trainers who are fully accredited to deliver Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health First Aid Lite. They are also able to deliver ASIST training.
Many of our staff are also involved in delivering City & Guilds Community Mental Health Worker training and we have our own NOCN Level 3 course accredited in 4 other countries in Europe.
We deliver bespoke resilience training to large employers, together with bespoke “well being in the workplace” training. We currently deliver “Blue Light” mental health awareness – this is mental health awareness for the emergency services (fire, ambulance and police).
We also deliver webinar training particularly around emotional resilience and we are in the process of adding to this with our Recovery College courses in confidence building and the “soft skills” to help people in their recovery from mental health issues.
We work with a number of partners across the whole of Europe and have participated and delivered workshops at many European Conferences on mental health, social inclusion and social economy.
Our offices are at:
8 Woodside, Plymouth, PL4 8QE, UK
